About Society

The association was founded with the aim of promoting, developing and advancing clinical embryology and human reproduction in accordance with the latest scientific knowledge and technology development. Our founding assembly was in 10 December 2009. 

Membership

Membership in our Society can be ordinary, exceptional and honorary. Ordinary membership is reserved for Croatian members only. Exceptional members can be every colleagues in the world but those members cannot vote on general assembly of the Society. Honorary members are those colleagues who are elected and voted by more than half of the members of General Assembly, because they give additional value to the Society.

Executive committee

The bodies of the association are Assembly (all members of the Society), President (elected by the assembly), Vice president (elected by the assembly) and General Secretary (elected by the assembly). These bodies run the association and are accountable to the Assembly of the Society.

Bylaws

The IVF Act regulates the entire activity of in vitro fertilization on the territory of the Republic of Croatia. The law regulates and prescribes all ordinances and regulations related to human reproductive cells and tissues. Here it is the link on our IVF law on Croatian language.

Commission for continuing education of clinical embryologists 2017. – 2021.

The committee consists of five members. Each member must have at least 10 years of experience in clinical embryology. The commission’s mandate lasts three years. The committee prescribes the plan and program of education in clinical embryology, licenses and relicenses members and prescribes requirements for licensing.
