Clinical Embryologist

Clinical embryology as a separate science and essentially applied biology dates back to the birth of the first test-tube baby on July 25, 1978, when Prof. Edwards’ pioneering work bore fruit and paved a new direction for research and treatment. Today, July 25 is celebrated every year as the Global Day of Clinical Embryologists.

After completing a five-year (master’s) degree in biology, it is necessary to continuously monitor all relevant scientific studies in the field of reproductive medicine and biology in order to keep up with the times and everyday achievements of modern science.

Clinical embryology is in fact a subspecialist activity in which, perhaps in nothing else in medicine, a direct clash of science and technology in the service of infertility treatment and research is applicable. By regulating this sensitive area, many modern countries have created the legal conditions and needs for the association within republics, regions and the global movement.

Following European and world aspirations and trends, we founded our Society and the main emphasis was placed on education of fellow beginners as well as the constant organization of congresses, symposia and workshops to acquire new knowledge and skills and summarizing and reviewing old.
